Fantastic Soloist Rehearsals

We just wanted to say thank you to all our fantastic soloists who came to our special rehearsal yesterday.  It was a joy to listen to your performances and it gave us and you a chance to hear you individually.  Christopher and I commented on how much you have all improved since last year!  It is so important to have a rehearsal with your accompanist, as they then understand more about the way you want to sing your solo.  This is also a reminder to a few of you, whom we have asked either to go to the Younger Voices Room upstairs soon after 2pm and a few other soloists to stay after the main choir rehearsal with either Katharina or Adam.

You might all like to know that this is a very difficult time for 3 of our Music Staff, although all are Graduates in Music they are currently handing in their portfolios after two further years of study at the Royal Academy of Music.

Adam in Composition, Joe as Solo Tenor and Katharina as an Accompanist; we are sure you will wish them all well in their Advanced Examinations.

Finally, please remember that the tickets for our Recital on 19th May 2013 at 4pm will be on sale again this coming Sunday from the parents who are on duty at the desk situated in the foyer.

Our new Blog is here!

We can tell you that we will be rehearsing with our soloists and their accompanists this Sunday in the main Church.  We will be there from 1pm to 6pm.  It should be a lovely afternoon, so that everyone has time to rehearse with their own accompanist.

Looking forward to seeing the Chorale and NYC Singers on May 5th, which is our 2nd and last rehearsal before the Dugdale Recital on the 19th.

The rehearsals were excellent on Sunday – well done everyone!
